Oktoberfest: Methods To Celebrate The Festivities On The Gold Coast

THIS is the most legitimate excuse for spending a weekend ingesting beer.

The footy grand finals and Oktoberfest celebrations fall on the identical weekend — and we are totally here for it.

A number of Coast venues are internet hosting festivities to have a good time the German holiday, together with House of Brews at Surfers Paradise.

Owner Damian Kanaghines stated they had named their event HOBtoberfest.

"We’re doing a number of Aussie craft beers in a Bavarian type," he said.

"All the employees might be dressed up and there will likely be a bunch of Oktoberfest type food like schnitzel and pretzels.

"We’ll even be doing a few particular cocktails with Jagermeister."

Mr Kanaghines mentioned it was the primary time the popular restaurant was internet hosting Oktoberfest celebrations.

"It’s basically just a massive party that everyone is invited to," he said.

"It is going to be loud, raucous and excessive ... we’ve been to Oktoberfest in Germany and we oknew there wasn’t lots happening in Surfers for it, so we thought we’d flip it into an occasion on grand finals weekend.

"We have now big TV screens on the rooftop showing the games, it is going to be the first real taste of summer."
